Welcome!
I have a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction (Adult and Vocational Education) from the University of Victoria (Canada). My scholarly interest in general is in how and what people learn in formal and in-formal contexts. My research focuses on adult education and research methods. I am specialized in versatile pedagogy/andragogy and techniques that cultivate a learning-centered environment and create a ground for active and authentic learning of adults. During my research, I traced what motivated adult students to learn and what are the factors that facilitate authentic learning and developing competencies.
My disseminated research outcomes in peer reviewed journals, book chapters, and conference presentations currently encompass; assessment and evaluation of competencies, educational policy, situated knowledge and deploying quasi-communities in formal educational settings.
